Bloomin' Garden

The new garden is looking really good. I'm glad I spent time last fall to carefully plan where to put these plants that were acquired in a random fashion almost 5 years ago and spent the first 4 years of their life at 2 Linseed Road being overshadowed by day lilies. The bleeding hearts aren't at the shrub-like size that they were the past couple of years but I'm sure that's because they were transplanted. They'll recover just fine and be huge next spring, I'm sure. The fleur-de-lis iris (aka "yellow flag" iris) handled the move very well. As did the magenta bearded iris which will bloom in a few weeks.

More photos as more blooming occurs...
